Furniture Disposal
The move process is often a great opportunity for a company to rationalise the furniture they utilise.
Often surplus furniture will be stored in one of our facilities pending redistribution at a later date but on occasions a client will identify that the surplus furniture is of no further use to their company.
If furniture is deemed to be surplus we can assist manage the most appropriate method in disposing of these items. We have developed a number of relationships throughout New Zealand that can receive and reuse surplus furniture as one of our goals is to minimise the amount of furniture being sent to landfills.
Often a good way of offsetting the cost of a move is to send any surplus furniture to an auction house or if the furniture has no residual value there are a number of charities and non profit organisations that can receive and reuse surplus furniture depending on the clients preferred option.
